Income from eBooks is potentially ‘free money’ with no printing, storage or distribution costs and no returns. But while it’s free money, it’s not a huge sum, and many publishers are finding that it isn’t worth the investment in time or extra staff needed to get eBook editions of their titles on sale. So how can your publishing company get its eBooks on sale and create an additional income stream without any investment in time or money? Just follow these three simple steps:
1 Copy all your printing PDFs of book insides and cover images in JPG or TIF format onto a CD
2 Send the CD to Matrix Media Services
3 Receive an additional income stream for your business.
We take your print files and convert them into four formats for uploading: Adobe PDF, Microsoft Reader, Mobipocket and Palm format. Whilst we make every effort, not every book is suitable for all formats; for example a heavily illustrated book will not generally work in any other format other than Adobe PDF.
These eBook files are then uploaded onto our distribution partners' websites for circulation to hundreds of online eBook stores all over the world.
